The Role
Deco is currently seeking experienced and qualified Electrical Testers to join our team on a major data centre in Vienna, Austria. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical testing, inspection and verification across multiple electrical systems, including small power, lighting and LV systems. This is a hands-on testing role requiring candidates with strong technical knowledge, a methodical approach and proven experience working on large-scale industrial projects. The role will involve live testing, therefore candidates must have the appropriate experience, competence and certification to undertake live electrical testing safely and effectively .This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Electrical Testers looking for a long-term international project and excellent team.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical inspection, testing and verification across a range of electrical systems.
Undertake live electrical testing in accordance with approved procedures and safe systems of work.
Test and verify small power systems.
Test and verify lighting systems.
Test and verify LV electrical systems.
Identify, investigate and report electrical faults, defects and non-conformities.
Accurately record test results and complete all required testing documentation.
Ensure all testing is completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, relevant standards and company procedures.
Work closely with Electrical Supervisors, Engineers and other project personnel to coordinate testing activities.
Ensure all test equipment is suitable, calibrated and maintained as required.
Communicate testing progress, results and outstanding issues effectively to the project team.
Maintain a high standard of health, safety and quality at all times.
Support commissioning and verification activities as required throughout the project.
Essential Criteria
City & Guilds Electrical Testing & Inspection certification
Minimum 2 years' proven electrical testing experience on industrial projects.
Proven experience testing small power, lighting and LV electrical systems.
Demonstrable experience carrying out live electrical testing.
Strong understanding of electrical testing and inspection procedures.
Be familiar with LO/TO procedures and safe systems of works
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Good understanding of electrical safety requirements and safe systems of work.
Valid EU passport
CSR/ Safe Pass / TUF / VCA
Ability and willingness to work on a rotational basis in Vienna.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider project team.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for experienced Electrical Testers who take pride in the quality and accuracy of their work and who are confident working within a demanding industrial project environment. You will be a technically competent and safety-conscious individual, capable of working independently while also integrating effectively into a wider project team. If you have a strong background in electrical testing, hold the required City & Guilds testing certification, have a minimum of 2 years' industrial testing experience, and are looking for a long-term international opportunity, we would be interested in hearing from you.
