Director

  • Declan Donnelly is a highly qualified and experienced director with 14 years of extensive experience in the construction industry. Throughout his career, Declan has worked across Europe, cultivating a deep understanding of labour compliance and the unique in-country requirements for each market in which DECO operates. His comprehensive knowledge enables the company to navigate complex regulations, ensuring that projects meet local standards and practices effectively.

    Declan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business Management equipping him with a solid foundation in strategic planning and operational management. His academic background, combined with practical experience, allows him to approach challenges with a keen analytical mindset and innovative solutions.

    As a Director, Declan is dedicated to fostering a collaborative work environment, prioritising strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Darran Monaghan

Managing Director

  • Darran Monaghan is a seasoned professional in the construction industry with over 23 years of diverse experience. Starting his career as an apprentice, Darran has developed a profound understanding of the industry from the ground up. His hands-on approach and commitment to excellence allowed him to work through every level of various companies, gaining invaluable insights that have shaped his leadership style today.

    Darran holds a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Construction Management, an MSc in Quantity Surveying, and an LLM in Construction and Contract Law. This strong academic foundation, combined with his extensive practical experience, enables him to navigate complex projects and challenges with confidence and precision. He possesses a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of industry regulations and best practices, ensuring that DECO remains at the forefront of quality and compliance.

Financial Controller

    Her strong educational foundation, which includes a Bachelor of Business Studies, specialising in Finance with Honours, complements her professional qualification as a Fellow Chartered Accountant. John Hannick

Operations Manager

  • John Hannick is an accomplished Operations Manager at DECO, bringing over 25 years of extensive industry experience and holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree. John began his career as an apprentice, where he developed a solid foundation in the construction field. Throughout his journey, he has worked his way up through every level within various Tier 1 companies, gaining invaluable insights and expertise along the way. His comprehensive understanding of operations, combined with a commitment to safety, quality and efficiency, drives DECO’s success in delivering top-notch electrical and mechanical installations. John is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence within the organization

Jamie Woolhead

Project Controls Manager

  • With 19 years of experience in the construction industry, including 7 years specialising in data centre construction and cost management, Jamie has developed a diverse and well-rounded career. Beginning as an apprentice electrician, Jamie gained hands-on expertise before advancing into materials management, procurement, and cost management. 

    Jamie holds a bachelor’s degree in business from University College Dublin (UCD) and a diploma from the Institute of Commercial Management. Known for a strong interest in reporting and data analysis, Jamie leverages these skills to deliver insights that enhance efficiency and support informed decision-making. 

    Dedicated to precision and innovation, Jamie consistently strives for excellence in the construction sector.

Eamon Flatley

Operations Manager

  • Eamon Flatley brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Operations Manager at DECO. With a proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects across Europe, Eamon is a vital part of our leadership team, overseeing the construction of cutting-edge data centers with precision and efficiency.

    Eamon has extensive experience across the industrial, commercial, and data center sectors, having worked on a variety of high-profile projects. His expertise includes managing and delivering critical systems such as Building Management Systems (BMS), containment installations, low voltage (LV) systems, and lighting and small power systems.

    Having contributed to large-scale projects in Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and the UK, Eamon is well-versed in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. His leadership is defined by technical excellence, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.

Jonny Wallace

Operations Manager
