DECO Engineering forecasts 30% growth after turnover reaches €20m

DECO Engineering, the specialist electrical contractor, has reported turnover of €20m for the year to the end of March 2025.

The company has forecast growth of 30% for its recently ended financial year with a similar outlook for FY 2027, underpinned by strong pipeline of products and an expanding international client base.

Founded in 2022, Navan-based DECO is led by directors Declan Donnelly and Darran Monaghan and employs a staff of 350 across its operations in Ireland, the UK, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Italy and Spain.

DECO Engineering's growth has been accelerated by its specialist capability in data centre construction, and the company has become a go-to contractor for major projects across Europe.

The firm recently formalised an ambitious five-year growth strategy and has secured in excess of €75m in projects over the next 24 months.

Its core services include electrical services, off-site manufacturing, and commissioning activities, with specialist divisions serving the life sciences, large-scale commercial and Data Centre sectors.

“Over the last three years, we have developed our business rapidly by securing major project wins, expanding our international footprint, and maintaining a relentless focus on safety and operational delivery," said Donnelly.

"My business partner Darran Monaghan and I understand the complexities and challenges inherent in major electrical infrastructure projects, which is why we have been able to scale so quickly in such a short space of time.

"Another key factor in our success has been our ability to attract and retain some of the best electrical engineering talent in Ireland and beyond. By investing in advanced technologies and continuous staff development, we are building the competitive edge that will define us in the years ahead.”

Managing director Monaghan commented: “Our success is built on a clear understanding of what our clients need and an unwavering commitment to delivering it.

"We recognise that in the sectors we operate in, a missed deadline can have significant operational and financial consequences for our clients. That responsibility shapes everything we do; from the standards we set to the people we select to deploy on every project.

DECO Engineering has reported turnover of €20m for its 2025 financial year.

“We are focused on growing DECO Engineering at the right pace, with the right people, because we understand that sustainable success in this industry demands exactly that.

"Our people remain our greatest asset and our greatest responsibility. We are committed to ensuring that DECO Engineering team grow with us, which is why we have structures in place to ensure we share the success we are building together.”
